Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, Ervia
Orlaith is the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Ervia, a commercial semi state company responsible for Irish Water, Gas Networks Ireland and Aurora Telecom.
She has 25 years proven business and leadership experience in leading businesses with a core skill set in brand led strategic marketing and communications and has a reputation for getting right to the heart of the business issue and solving it. Previous roles include CEO of McCann Dublin, part of the global advertising agency network, McCann, owned by Interpublic Group (IPG). She is currently on the Executive at Ervia and she was also the President of IAPI, (Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland) and served on the industry body for 13 years.
She has also on the Board of Unicef and this year, Orlaith joined the Board of Guaranteed Irish.
Orlaith believes there is real firepower in creativity and integrated communications but more importantly, in brilliant people. She enjoys collaboration, innovation and partnership in business and detests negativity in all its devilish forms. She is a passionate champion for gender equity and was an Honorary Secretary of the International Women’s Forum, a mentor for the WOW Empowering Women Programme, on the Advisory Board of the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) and is currently a Mentor on the IMI 30% Club programme.
