Founder, Copeland Distillery
Gareth Irvine, founder of The Copeland Distillery, has excitedly revealed the recent rebrand and new product release of his company following 10 months of grueling hard work and construction development on what was once an old picture-house in Donaghadee.
Gareth started his journey over 4 years ago when he was still in university and he realised he wanted to set up his own business and explore the making of spirits, particularly gin. Four years down the line and Gareth is one of Northern Ireland’s youngest, and most ambitious, entrepreneurs to be taking the market by storm. Gareth has grown from a one-man show to a team of five full time employees and has just (as of today) opened one of Ireland’s newest distilleries in the heart of County Down.
Copeland specialise in the making of both Gin and whiskey and use a harmony of organic botanicals from around the world to create their coastal inspired spirits. With the recent launch of their Traditional Irish Gin and the opening of their experiential visitor centre Gareth is by no way slowing down on his ambitious journey.
