Department for the Economy

DfE:  The Department for the Economy (DfE) manages the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The Programme aims to boost NI’s economic growth and promote low carbon strategies by supporting key priorities of the NI Economic Strategy including investment in Research, Development & Innovation and business growth activities, and via investment in social housing energy efficiency and low carbon public transport infrastructure.

Invest NI: As the regional business development agency, Invest NI's role is to grow the local economy, by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally, and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland. Some of the support provided by Invest NI is offered under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
